The Wind Returns
The Lynx´s Path - Chapter 23
The twenty-second day began with the wind returning, its cool currents weaving through the trees and carrying a new energy. The man awoke to the sound of it rushing past his window, stirring the chimes that hung outside. It was not as fierce as before but carried a steady rhythm, like the breath of the earth itself. He sat by his altar, lighting a candle and taking a moment to listen. The wind spoke of movement, change, and the importance of releasing what was stagnant. Inspired, he decided to spend the day in motion, letting the wind guide him.
After his morning meditation, he ventured outside. The air was fresh, filled with the scent of damp soil and pine. The lynx’s presence felt closer again, her silent energy walking alongside him as he made his way to a familiar trail. Each step felt light, as though the wind carried not only the air but his thoughts and intentions forward.
At the top of a hill, he paused, letting the wind rush past him. Closing his eyes, he stretched his arms wide and imagined the currents flowing through him, sweeping away doubt and hesitation. The lynx appeared in his mind’s eye, her gaze sharp, urging him to embrace the movement.
The wind’s lesson today was one of trust—trust in the path, trust in himself, and trust in the unseen forces that surrounded him.
That evening, he reflected on the day’s journey in his journal:
“The wind is a teacher of trust. It moves without resistance, carrying what must be carried and clearing what must be cleared. Today, I let it guide me, and in its song, I found my own.”
