The Moon´s Reflection

 The Lynx´s Path - Chapter 15

The fourteenth day of the year unfolded under the quiet light of the waxing crescent Moon. As the man prepared for his morning meditation, he felt the Moon’s energy tugging at his emotions, a soft reminder of the cycles he was living within. The Moon, his chart’s most powerful planet, held a steady rhythm in his life, guiding him through the subtle tides of his intuition.

He lit a white candle on his altar, a simple act to honor the Moon. Sitting cross-legged, he focused on his breath, allowing it to sync with the quiet hum of the world around him. The lynx’s presence felt softer today, a comforting weight in the background of his awareness.

The Moon’s reflection came in fragments, a whisper of dreams, desires, and hidden truths. He opened his journal and allowed the words to flow:

  • “What have I been avoiding?”

  • “Where do I need to grow?”

  • “How can I hold space for my emotions?”

In the afternoon, he found himself drawn to water—a quiet stream near his home. Sitting by its edge, he watched the ripples dance in the sunlight. The water mirrored his emotions, shifting and flowing, never stagnant. He dipped his hands into the cold stream and let the sensation anchor him in the moment.

That evening, he performed a lunar ritual. He placed moonstones on his altar, burned lavender incense, and wrote down his intentions for growth as the Moon moved toward fullness. Folding the paper carefully, he placed it beneath the white candle, trusting the Moon’s light to guide his steps.

He ended the day with gratitude, writing:

“The Moon reminds me to honor the ebb and flow of my emotions. She teaches me to embrace my depths, knowing that light always returns to the darkness.”
