The Cleansing Rain
The Lynx´s Path - Chapter 31
The thirtieth day of the year began with the steady rhythm of rain. It was not the chaotic storm he had anticipated but a soft, cleansing shower that soaked the earth and filled the air with the scent of renewal. The man woke to the sound of droplets tapping against the roof, their rhythm like a gentle reminder to release and let go.He lit a blue candle on his altar to honor the element of water. Sitting before it, he closed his eyes and focused on his breath, imagining the rain washing away the layers of tension and fear he had carried. The lynx’s presence was quiet yet firm, her golden eyes watching as though ensuring he embraced this moment of release.
Inspired, he ventured outside into the rain, letting it soak through his coat and hair. He walked slowly, each step deliberate, feeling the water cleanse not just his body but his spirit. Reaching a nearby stream, he knelt by its edge, watching the raindrops ripple across its surface.
He whispered softly to the stream:
“Carry away what no longer serves. May this rain renew and restore.”
The lynx’s energy grew stronger in his mind, her silent guidance urging him to trust in the process. He cupped his hands in the cold water, letting it trickle through his fingers, and felt a deep sense of connection—to the earth, the rain, and the cycles of life.
By the time he returned home, the man felt lighter, as though the rain had washed not just the earth but his soul. That evening, as he journaled by candlelight, he reflected on the day’s lessons:
“Rain teaches us that release is not an act of weakness but of strength. It clears the way for growth, leaving behind fertile ground for new beginnings. Today, I honor the cleansing rain and the renewal it brings.”
