The Bridge of Dreams

The Lynx´s Path - Chapter 26

The twenty-fifth day began with a quiet stillness, as though the world itself was holding its breath. The man woke with the remnants of a vivid dream—a vision of a bridge stretching across a misty expanse, connecting two unknown places. It lingered in his mind, its symbolism intriguing and mysterious.

After his morning tea, he settled before his altar and lit a white candle. The lynx’s presence was subtle yet comforting, a steady reminder of the journey he was walking. He closed his eyes, focusing on the dream’s imagery, and whispered:

“What lies on the other side of the bridge?”

The dream had felt like an invitation, urging him to explore the unknown. He decided to honor it by creating a bridge of his own—a symbolic act to connect intention with reality. Gathering stones from his garden, he arranged them in a line, each one representing a step toward something greater.

As he placed each stone, he spoke an intention:

“I step toward courage.”

“I step toward truth.”

“I step toward transformation.”

By the time the small bridge was complete, he felt a deep sense of purpose. It wasn’t about reaching the destination but trusting the process of crossing.

In the afternoon, he walked to a stream near his home, where an old wooden footbridge spanned the water. He paused in the center, listening to the flow beneath him. The bridge seemed alive with energy, a reminder that transitions were not just about endings but beginnings.

That evening, as the stars began to shimmer in the dark sky, he wrote in his journal:

“The bridge is not a place of rest but a path to something greater. It teaches us to move forward, to trust that what lies ahead will reveal itself when we are ready.”
